Pet Rabbits | Animal Shelters

At Pet Rabbits, we're dedicated to the good health and well being of all animals, not just rabbits. That's why we've provided a list of animal shelters in the US, so you can adopt an unwanted pet and give them a good home.

If you are not able to adopt a bunny or other pet then you can always give a donation to help the shelters take care of the animals. A cash donation is always welcome but you may wish to consider donating your time by working as a volunteer. You can help clean and feed the animals or perhaps work in their office. There are lots of ways to help out.

Animal shelters play an important role in our community. They offer shelter and protection to animals that have been mistreated, abandoned or, for whatever reason, are no longer wanted. These animals are given a chance at a new life in a good home.

Unfortunately, hundreds of thousands of animals are dropped off in animal shelters every year. There are many reasons why people abandon animals but it is often due to uncontrolled breeding and irresponsible pet ownership. It is a very sad fact that many people are just not capable of taking care of an animal and treating them well. Most of the animals in animal shelters are dogs and cats but they also receive rabbits, horses, livestock, and a wide range of wild and native animals.
